The Vision Framework

January 23rd, 2010 by ken

Recently our Leadership Team met for a retreat to finish the Vision Framework.  We were able to work through the four sides of the vision frame.  Mission, Motives, Map and Measures.  Here’s what God gave us as we met:

MISSION – What are we doing?

- We link people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

MOTIVES -  Why are we doing it?

 - Worshipping as a lifestyle

-  Building Christ-centered relationships with people

- Developing and reproducing leaders

- Being a missional people

- Building healthy and strong families

MAP – How we are doing it?

Link to God – Link to People – Link to Service

The Crosslink Map

MEASURES – What does it look like when we are successful?

 - A knowledge of God’s Word

- Hear and obey God’s Word

- Tell others about Jesus Christ

- Compassionate towards others

- Serving and giving genersouly

- Committed to prayer

- Carrying God’s Word to others

There is still some “tweaking” that needs do be done.  Take the time to read through this framework and feel free to shoot me an email if you have questions:  ken@lifeatthelink.org.  We will unveil some of this to our congregation on Vision Sunday, January 31st.

Pastor Ken did a great job communcating the message that God gave him to speak to parents and children today I could not help to think that is our mission to link people to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ I did not do this with my children I was not walking with God as I should have been.I believe one of the greatest reward a parent can recieved here on this planet is to lead your children to the Lord.I ‘m always finding ways to be close to my children now even at the age of 31 and 22 so in there mine they see Christ in me and through me.Crosslink will equip and give you the tools to do this Parents. That you can experince the rewards in life by having a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus. There a saying hope for the best plan for the worst by the end of day if lighting does not strike you drop to your knees and give it to Him for he always in control. Amen
